The Slow Wall was commissioned by Grizedale Art’s in 2009 for the launch of Lawson Park Farm in Coniston. In designing the organic wall covering Lee drew inspiration from the rural environment where she combined the traditional deep button styling of a chesterfield sofa with flashes of orange wire reminiscent of agricultural plastic and timber buttons to complete the look. 

This natural work, produced from rush sourced from Somerset brought something of the outside inside for this contemporary living space in a newly renovated Cumbrian building.
